CAMP DAVID, United States — US President Joe Biden said Wednesday that authorities were probing “any possible connection” between a deadly truck-ramming attack in New Orleans and the explosion of a Cybertruck outside a Trump hotel in Las Vegas.

Law enforcement are investigating the explosion of the Tesla vehicle “including whether there’s any possible connection with the attack in New Orleans,” Biden told reporters, adding: “Thus far, there’s nothing to report on that score.”

Wall Street indices initially fell following monthly consumer price index data, which kept the Federal Reserve on track to cut interest rates but weakened the case for a larger reduction.

The benchmark Philippine Stock Exchange Index shed 0.57 percent, or 39.75 points, to close at 6,944.88.
