Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde's Shiv Sena has released another list of candidates for the Assembly elections which includes 15 more names. The party has released three lists so far and has fielded several candidates on BJP ticket as well.luhoplay

Polling for the 288-member Maharashtra Assembly will take place in a single phase on November 20, the results for which will be announced on November 23.

In Shiv Sena's first list, the party has re-nominated almost all the MLAs who backed Shinde when he walked out from the then Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray's government in June 2022.

In the latest list, Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena fielded four candidates on BJP ticket including Shaina NC and BJP leader and former Union Minister Raosaheb Danve’s daughter Sanjana Jadhav.

Shaina NC switched from BJP to Shiv Sena a few hours after her candidacy was announced.

Milind Deora Deora, a former Congress leader and Union minister of state, joined the Sena before the Lok Sabha polls this year and was subsequently elected to the Rajya Sabha.

Shinde’s decision to pit Deora against incumbent MLA and Uddhav Thackeray's son Aaditya Thackeray will make Worli a high-voltage contest.

The Bharatiya Janata Party, Sena's ally, released its first list of 99 candidates on Sunday.
